I’ve been playing something somewhat similar at my local lgs Mengu and it’s felt very very powerful. Honestly it almost feels like the bans helped Tron or at least the more prison Tron builds. With everyone lowering their curves to play opals and looting, at least theoretically, it’s a perfect time for them to walk straight into the traps of Chalice and Karn! Haven’t watched yet but just really enjoying that you got a trophy here. How was Sire of Seven Deaths? I’m thinking of playing two.
Hey Mengu! As always, thank you so much for the video. I have a question. In the beginning of the video you said that you prefer the normal Tron lands over Eldrazi Tron lands, but do you enjoy the post MH3 Eldrazi Tron decks over pre-MH3 Tron decks?
I agree Orcish Bowmasters is bad now. It's like only good in or against Hollow One, but everyone keeps playing it, and every time I see it just think it's so bad for 2 mana.
Mengu my friend, storm can only win with wish and sometimes the maindeck grapeshot. stonebraining wish is at least equivalent to naming archon against creativity. it doesnt stop them from winning unless you hit the grapeshot as well, but neither does it stop creativity from winning. Stone brain exiles itself, too. so if you hit wish, you can pick up stone brain and hit grapeshot the next turn and they literally cant win anymore
@Bsweet117 the first stone brain will show if they brought that in. Most of the time it stays as a wish target. And he can always karn for e.e. to beat that

Paper magic has been quite different from online. There were like 3 energy, 2 UB, 2 breach in the top 32

In game 1 round 1, does it make sense to minus Karn for All is Dust and wipe the board? Leaves looting in gy but not much else going on for opponent
